Resumo: This research aims to develop and evaluate an alternative solution for slope stabilization, based on a soldier pile wall composed of “I”-shaped SHCC (Strain-Hardening Cementitious Composites) concrete piles reinforced with FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) bars and porous concrete panels made with a UHPC (Ultra-High-Performance Concrete) matrix. The proposal seeks to replace traditional steel profiles with advanced concrete elements, promoting greater durability, corrosion resistance and reduced weight. The adopted methodology includes the characterization of the materials used, comprising compression tests on cementitious matrices, direct tensile tests on FRP bars, and flexural tests on SHCC concrete beams reinforced with FRP. For the porous concrete panels, different compositions using UHPC matrix were evaluated, aiming to optimize both mechanical strength and permeability. The structural elements were cast and subjected to experimental testing to assess their structural and functional performance. Finally, the technical feasibility of the proposed solution is analyzed through a case study, applying the developed structural elements to a Soldier Pile retaining wall system. The results indicate that the system demonstrates good structural behavior, adequate drainage capacity, and potential for application as a technically efficient alternative for retaining structures.
